Baramulla, April 02 (KNO) : National Conference (NC) president and former chief minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said that repealing Article 370 may help people to get freedom. “I challenge BJP to repeal the Article 370 as its abrogation may help us to get freedom,” Dr. Abdullahs aid while addressing a gathering today. He added that had Pulwama incident not taken place, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would have lost. Meanwhile, NC vice president Omar Abdullah reiterated that his party will revive the erstwhile ‘Sadr-e-Riyasat’ and Prime Minister posts of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. According to KNO correspondent, Omar urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have a history lesson about J&K. He said that these two executive positions are not new to the state but have been part of the structure till 1965. “He should read history of India and see under which circumstances Jammu and Kashmir became part of India,” Omar said while referring to PM Modi, adding that PM Modi had criticised opposition parties over Abdullah’s demand of reviving posts of ‘Sadr-e-Riyasat’ and Prime Minister J&K.
